Singapore has one of the most generous AI adoption support ecosystems in the world. The problem is that most business owners and professionals do not know what is available, or find the government websites too complicated to navigate.
This guide cuts through the noise. Here is what is available, who qualifies, and how to apply.

For Business Owners
1. Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)
What it covers: Up to 50% funding for pre-approved digital and AI tools, including CRM systems, HR software, accounting tools, and some AI-powered productivity solutions.
Who qualifies:
- Singapore-registered businesses
- At least 30% local shareholding
- Annual sales turnover below S$100 million OR fewer than 200 employees
How to apply: Go to businessgrants.gov.sg and search for “Productivity Solutions Grant.” Browse the pre-approved solutions list to see what tools are covered.
Important note: Only tools on the pre-approved list are eligible. You cannot claim a grant for ChatGPT or Canva directly – you need to use one of the listed vendors.
2. SMEs Go Digital Programme (IMDA)
What it covers: Free access to Industry Digital Plans (IDPs) for your sector, which recommend specific digital tools and help you map out where to start. Some tools come with co-funding.
Who qualifies: Singapore SMEs in priority sectors including retail, food services, logistics, precision engineering, and more.
How to apply: Go to imda.gov.sg/SMEsGoDigital and check if your industry is listed.
Best feature: IMDA has pre-screened vendors. You get matched to partners who help you set up the tools, not just a grant cheque to figure it out yourself.
3. Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)
What it covers: Up to 50% (70% for SMEs) of qualifying costs for projects that help your business grow or transform. This includes AI strategy projects, process redesign, and tech adoption projects.
Who qualifies:
- Singapore-registered business
- At least 30% local shareholding
- In a financially viable position
How to apply: Apply at businessgrants.gov.sg under Enterprise Singapore. You will need to describe your project and get it approved before starting.
Best for: Businesses that want to do a proper AI transformation project with consultants or system integrators.
4. SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)
What it covers: S$10,000 one-time credit per employer for workforce transformation activities. Can be used for AI training programmes for your employees.
Who qualifies: Singapore employers with at least 3 Singapore citizen or PR employees who have been employed for at least 3 months.
How to apply: Credits are automatically given. Check your balance at skillsfuture.gov.sg/sfec.

1. SkillsFuture Credit
What it covers: S$500 initial credit plus additional top-ups for Singaporeans aged 25 and above to spend on approved training courses, including many AI and digital skills courses.
Who qualifies: All Singapore citizens aged 25 and above.
How to use: Browse and pay for courses at skillsfuture.gov.sg. Approved AI courses from providers like NTUC LearningHub, Coursera, and specific private providers are eligible.
Tip: Search for “artificial intelligence,” “data analytics,” or “prompt engineering” on the SkillsFuture portal to see current approved courses.
2. TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA)
What it covers: Subsidised training and placement for mid-career professionals looking to move into tech and AI roles. Some programmes offer salary support during the training period.
Who qualifies: Mid-career Singaporeans looking to reskill into tech. Different programmes have different requirements.
Where to find it: Managed by IMDA. Check imda.gov.sg/TeSA for current open programmes.
Best for: Professionals in their 30s or 40s who want to pivot into AI-related roles without doing a full degree.
3. AI Trailblazers Programme (IMDA)
